This makes a real transaction on Solana devnet. Devnet SOL is worth nothing — that is the point. You can run the whole thing end to end without risking a cent.
In devnet SOL. A little extra goes in on top so the drop wallet can pay its own claim fee. That is how the person receiving it pays nothing.
With a PIN, the key inside the link is scrambled. Someone who sees the link cannot take the money without also knowing the PIN. You have to tell them the PIN separately — a different app, or out loud.
